At ages 9 and 8, our faces always lit up every time our parents bought a fridge or anything that came in a big cardboard box.
I remember, in the midst of a balmy summer, we would gain access to the unsuspecting box, and then cut out the windows and doors. Whilst much to my mother’s horror, Nadia would import luxury fabrics from her closet to make curtains and cushions for our play home… Nadia did always have a good eye for quality!
After our little project was done we would celebrate by getting ‘dolled up’ and left enough time to collect mud from the garden, for our pretend tea party, and invite our friends and appalled parents to our new show home.
Our parents always did encourage us to use our imagination and be resourceful, much to their regret at the time.
Much of the concept, however, remains the same today. Together, we bring different qualities of our personalities to our business; Nadia with her super talent as an interior designer and mine for the bricks and mortar with the Business and Property Development background. Our skills mix well, together we provide an unrivalled service.
Meeting and exceeding clients’ expectations is paramount to us. When the job is well done and it is time to celebrate, our clients must not worry, we have fortunately left our prior, mud-hunting tea parties behind.

Ayisha completed her degree in BSc Economics and went on to study Law.
After completing her LLB from the University of Leeds she received a commendation from BPP Law School in the Legal Practice Course. Due to the effect of the recession on the current market conditions she opted to take a break from practising law and to seize an opportunity in property development. She successfully developed properties and rented them out, producing good rental yields.
Now she is delighted to be working with her best friend, her sister, bringing a strong business head to Tareen and Tareen.
Ayisha has a good sense of humour and is very adventurous. She is always up for a challenge and strongly believes that self-growth is achieved when one ventures out of their comfort zone.
She is very social and shares the same passion with her sister for travelling and food.
Nadia is passionate about design and art. She moved to the UK to successfully obtain a BA(Hons) Interior Architecture degree. After graduating, she gained professional experience in commercial and residential design.
She loves to use textures and colours to create interiors that are subtle, yet grand, timeless and elegant, with a mixture of contemporary and classic designs.
With an eye for detail, Nadia brings a lot of creative and innovative ideas to her work influenced by her travels around the world and international background.
She works alongside architects and developers from the initial stages of a project to ensure that space is used to its full potential, whether it’s a new construction or a renovation project. There is no interior space too small, big, or dark nor any budget too limiting – Nadia can transform any interior with clever spatial planning and well sourced furnishings.
“I want to be the best of who I am in order to give people the best I can.”
“I feel it is essential to pursue projects with an open mind and adopt a hands-on approach, which allows projects to be completed smoothly within the specified time. It is essential for me to understand my client’s taste along with lifestyle to provide them with designs which are truly unique and reflective of their personality.”
